Ehr.. You should change the GNUtunesDB.xml file.

The iPod, iTunes and GNUpod don't care about changed ID3 Fields.

Just open /mnt/ipod/iPod_Control/.gnupod/GNUtunesDB.xml and edit it.

If you don't like to edit the XML file, you should create a script wich
does this for you :)

gnupod_addsong.pl --restore is a 'last resort' command. (It removes all
playlists on the iPod!)


It would be easy to create something like gnupod_rename.pl, or (better)
hack gnupod_search.pl and add a rename command.
