Looks like some glue was missing in FileMagic.pm..
The Quicktime parser found them but GNUpod didn't write them..
The attached version fixes this, simply replace the existing version
with this file..
[Btw: You can test the QT-Parser with 'tools/m4a-info.pl']
[BBtw: gnupod_addsong.pl has a --set-genre option ;-)]
