..and did you enable support for MAC-Partitions?

Well, somethimes the 'firmware update' reformats a mac ipod into a win
ipod ;-)

2 Partitions would be okay for an windows ipod..

Well, thats bad..

Looks like you are using USB?
Did you attach the iPod using a HUB or at the root?

AFAIK no. The latest iPod firmware WFM using Firewire and USB ..

Downgrading the iPod is alwasy possible.. using linux
(Or another Unix, like OSX)
