Hi,
i've just readed and used ur guide at:
http://www.gnu.org/software/gnupod/gnupod.html#SEC6
but i've some problem... hope that you can help me in some way...
i bought an IPod Photo 4th gen. 40GB, i've tried to format it in Windows
but no way.. i always get error while formatting...
i've tried to use it on a iMac with MacOsX and it works fine... no
problem of any kind...
i've tried both with firewire and usb and works well.. (on windows only
by USB, 'cause on my laptop
i don't have a firewire port) ...
but i need to use it with a FAT32 partition 'cause at work i can only
use win and i want to use
my iPod as HD ...
now ... on my laptop i use for the most of the time Linux (i've a Suse
9.3 Pro, that work perfectly..)
i've followed step-by-step ur document.. but at reboot time (after made
the fat32 partition) i always
get the folder with esclamation point.. and there is no way to have back
the iPod software...
i've tried several time but always get this problem...
what i can do... how you can help me?
this is what i get with dmesg after mounting the iPod after the last
operation:
