Thx very much for your reply.

Fact is, after the error msg, No files were written to the ipod!
For that reason, I thought the warning was more serious.

I'll pull the patch and thanks very much for it!!!

To be clear, these warnings are entirely harmless, so you can ignore
them if you want. But if you want them gone, I fixed this issue a
while back on my personal copy of gnupod, and forgot to tell the
mailing list. My copy is available here:

(My copy also doesn't issue lots of "undefined value in concatenation
or string" warnings if you have tracks with undefined title, artist,
or album.)
