Can't update add-ons: IceCat does not restart

Hi!

I use IceCat 3.5.5 on openSUSE 11.1 / IceWM(Gnome). I have the
following add-ons installed:
- AddBlockPlus 1.0.2
- Add to Search Bar 1.8
- FEBE 6.1
- FireGestures 1.5
- Flashblock 1.5.10
- ImgLikeOpera 0.6.18
- KudoZ Bar 3.2
- SpeedDial 0.9.0.8
- Text Formatting Toolbar 0.1.4.10
- Unicode Input Tool/Converter 2.5.6

The add-on compatibility check is turned off.

I have found and want to install updates to FEBE (to 6.3.2) and
Flashblock (to 1.5.11.2). Both updates have been downloaded and
installed successfully, and IceCat prompts me to restart it to
complete installation. However, after I click ‘Restart GNU IceCat’,
IceCat simply exits and does not restart. After I launch IceCat again,
I see that the updates are still pending. I have tried to search for
‘IceCat add-on update restart’ in Google without any helpful result.
Where can I look else?
