new bookmark folder hangs

I just found out I have been sending IceCat add-ons to a mailing list.

My bookmarks have been acting wrong. Trying to add a bookmark and create a 
new folder for it at the same time entirely with the keyboard has been 
resulting in the following: a hang, some kind of JS script that needs stopping 
and renaming of one or two other folders with the same name as the new one. 
I'm not sure what debugging information anyone would need, so feel free to ask 
questions. This seems like one of those problems that no one else has or knows 
how to fix.
