Follow-up Comment #31, bug #58736 (project groff):
Hah, I can't use `?f`: Allman already does, undocumentedly (even more than
normal--it's not in the big list of registers we initialize to zero with @R).
I'll find some other name. The contours of my proposal have not changed.
