Sorry but I cannot make work any relative or absolute symlink. I use only
one filesystem so there is nothing with mounted or unmounted filesystems.
I've tried symlinks /vmlinuz --> boot/vmlinuz-2.4.0 ,
/vmlinuz --> /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.0 , /boot/vmlinuz --> /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.0 ,
/boot/vmlinuz --> ./vmlinuz-2.4.0 . I use kernel 2.4.0-test10 with
ReiserFS 3.6.18 . So it's latest kernel release with patch for this kernel
version. But without succes. Maybe grub support is for ReiserFS 3.5.xx
designed for kernel 2.2.xx ? If this is the case you should fix it because
ReiserFS 3.6.20 will be incorporated into standard kernel source in 2.4.1
version.
