Re: Time to fork the netboot code?

To create a dependency upon any OS's code is to tie GRUB to a particular os
which betrays the very name GRUB.  If one of the reasons for using the bios
is to avoid this very issue and if there is no sentiment to use a standard
interface within GRUB then what is the whole point of GRUB?
