Hi,
I am having problems with GRUB:
I have two hard disks /dev/hda and /dev/hdb
/dev/hda has NT and Redhat 7.2 with GRUB on MBR, everything looks good,
GRUB shows all the OS's (DOS, and Redhar 7.2 kernals).
From dos prompt removed the MBR (restored the original MBR, which is
just DOS), looks good, always boot to DOS.
I installed new hard disk /dev/hdb. Installed Redhat 7.2 with GRUB on
MBR (/dev/hda). This time I expect GRUB to show DOS and new Redhat 7.2
kernels. Looks like GRUB ignored the entry for DOS while showing in the
menu list. My /etc/grub.conf has new Redhat 7.2 kernals and entry for
DOS too. /boot/grub/device.maps as entries for fd0, hd0, hd1.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
/Murali
