I have a Laptop System (Dell Inspiron-8100) of which I have partitioned to
Dual boot Windows-XP and RedHat-7.2.
The Windows partions is first ~hda1 and LINUX sits on hda5-6. Upon install
and boot the only entry in the GRUB graphical boot loader was for the LINUX
installation (not suprising). I tried to add the Windows-XP entry in the
grub.conf
file with the line:
chainloader +1
But upon reboot and selecting windows for booting I got an error, which
indicated
it failed on the 'chainloader' entry.
Do you know of a work around? I assume GRUB works with Win-2K dual boot
systems?, I do not understand the difference, unless it has to do the the NTFS
file system?
Thanks,
