Check for change before writing to hard drive

All writing to the hard drive should be preceded by a check to see if what is
about to be written is the same as what is already there. If it is the same,
then no writing should be done. Otherwise, a menu.lst file like below will
always write the MBR three times for every reboot! (This is for the unhide,
hide, and makeactive. savedefault already checks and will not write if there
was no change.) Note, this is for version 0.91.
