setup (hd0,0) instead (hd0) on w2k

Hi list,
It seems like I have issued in grub

setup (hd0,0)

I think I was supposed to issue setup (hd0). There is w2k on /dev/sda1
and it won't boot anymore. What I understand is I overwriten sda1's boot
sector instead of MBR, so:
1) what's there in w2k bootsector?
2) how do I recover? Via dd perhaps? 
and
3) don't you need a logo? I take part in postfix logo contest -- you can
