grub 0.90 (gentoo) possible bug

Hello,

I encountered a possible bug.
Don't have time to investigate it further _now_.
Just wanted to know if this sounds familiar.

Grub with bootimage.
With graphicscard, no problem.
without, it seems that it doesn't boot.

As I said, can't verify it know with the latest version.
I'll try it on the weekend to reproduce it, if you don't know about this :)

so, does anybody know anything about this bug?
checked the bug list on savannah and the changelog of 0.92
