Dear mr. Okuji,

I wrote about a month ago about having problems with GRUB combined with 
various netcards.

I'm glad to inform you that the problem was apparently hardware related. I 
was fooled by two independent machines giving the same problem. later I have 
succesfully used the setup on a new machine, using various netcard w/o 
problem.

Hope not to have caused to many worries.

PS: thanks for the work on GRUB. We will be using it extensively in our 
project.
