Summary: USB floppy does not boot
Original Submission: GRUB will not boot from a USB floppy capable BIOS.
GRUB does not correctly handle USB floppy drives. The GRUB notification appears
on the screen, but the system appears frozen. CTRL-ALT-DEL will still reset the
system.
Dos 6.22, syslinux and lilo, all seem to handle the USB floppy fine. The BIOS
(WizPro, I know sounds like fun)is set for legacy support.
I've traced the execution path through the assembly, but cannot understand why
it seems to get where it gets if everything is ok.
The code appears to reach jmp *(stage2_address), inserting copious debug
messages, but falls on it's face.
Any help in debugging this?
