OK, so now my boot commands are:

rootnoverify (hd1,3)
chainloader --force +1
makeactive
boot

...and I don't get an error about an invalid partition anymore, but now
the screen blanks, there is a short delay, and the computer reboots.  Not
what I was hoping for...

Is anyone actually using UnixWare with grub?
