Booting Elf format files

Hello from Gregg C Levine
This is something that's come up before. But I've never managed to get
a satisfactory answer. But here goes: How can I configure GRUB to boot
an ELF formatted file? In this case, it's a copy of Red Boot
originally written by Red Hat for booting their RTOS, now the RTOS
itself is made and managed by itself. Name available later. Usual
rules apply for responses.
