Summary: Error 24

Original Submission: I am running grub-0.92 an a dual-boot system (W2K,
Linux). Grub is installed in the MBR. After happily using it for over 6 weeks,
my system refused to boot the other day with an Error 24. After booting from
floppy and running a root(hd0,1)/ setup (hd), everything is working again.

Anyone any idea what might have caused the Error24?
