I have added some comments and patches to Feng's bug-grub item (linked 
above), namely:

- an incremental patch to bring 5.3.5 driver updates in (quite minor), 
and fix tg3 compile errors (again, quite simple)

- a cumulative gzipped patch from grub 0.93 to the current stage (useful 
for people who don't use CVS)

- a really nasty and highly unrecommended DHCP hack.  DHCP in etherboot 
5.3.5 seems to be broken in my network environment; some testing 
indicates it might be getting confused because there are 2 DHCP servers. 
 The hack simply shortcuts the DHCP protocol, so the first OFFER gets 
used as an IP address, without acknowlegement!  This is probably OK in 
real life, since the IP address will only be used for a very short time 
(enough to get TFTP the kernel in)
