Hi,
There is a patch that adds reiser4 support to GRUB by namesys. Does
someone know why it is not in GRUB CVS?
The patch adds support to GRUB by linking GRUB to some reiser4
library. It seems like a trivial patch to me. Please let me know
what the problems are and how to get this patch integrated with GRUB
Legacy. I would be surprised if copyright assignments are the main
problem here.
For GRUB 2, reiser4 is already on my todo list. I guess when GRUB 2
is ready for usage it will have reiser4 support. I am not sure if I
will write it myself or use the library, or make it optional.
But if anything must be done to integrate the patch, please let me
know. It is not much work and I would be happy to do that.
