Hello,
I'm using IDE HDD. I installed GRUB in MBR (hd0) using Ubuntu
installation method. However, this error seems to happened with Debian
too. Someone has ever reported this kind of problem on debian-amd64
mailing list [1].
This problem seems to come from the motherboard, a bit weird i
think. The solution was to create a small /boot partition at the
beginning at the HDD and installed GRUB on this one. Someone has a
better solution ?

Thanks,
