Dear Sirs,
I hope I am not troubling you too much with my request.
Inspite of much 'googling' I cannot find some info. Maybe you can help?
Firstly, I have created, and successfully installed my own GRUB background
into compressed file 'message' (using cpio). My problem however, is the boot
options prompt dialog area (lower part of screen/display).
I cannot seem to change even the colours used!
In addition to my new 'background.pcx' other files from 'message' archive
include '16x16.font' and 'init'. Are these responsible for the lower part of
the screen? If so, how do I edit/convert them for manipulation?
I did try the 'colours' and 'foreground' 'background' options in menu.lst but
effected only the fallback menu (if 'message' file is screwed).
For what it's worth, I am working from a Debian SID (Kanotix) hdd install.
Please help if you can, best regards
Robert Bridge
