Follow-up Comment #3, bug #9159 (project grub):
Please try the following
Try mapping as shown below. In my case my linux was on the hdo and the xp
was on hd1. Then i use rootnoverify to the hd1 partition zero. Note the
mapping has no effect for this, i found this confusing and not documented
anyware. Then chainloader +1.
title XP
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
rootnoverify (hd1,0)
chainloader +1
