Hi
I have problem and I would like to confirm with you that this is the
solution that I found on the Internet. A virus apparently did something to
my MBR because when I boot up it says cannot read MBR boot sector disk
problem. Now, what is different from everybody else on the intenet is that
I can boot to my Linux no problem and safe boot to my windows 2000. It
seems to me that if i had a MBR problem that I could not boot up either
one.
One solution I found is that execute the following
grub-install --root-directory=/boot /dev/hda5
Do you concur ?
Thank You for your help
