On Debian sarge I incorrectly entered hd1,0 instead of hd0,0 for the
splashimage and I could no longer boot. Holding down "c" when booting
didn't get me the grub prompt. To correct I booted form a CD.
Is there any way to tell grub to ignore menu.lst when booting?
