You can try Super Grub Disk ( http://adrian15.raulete.net/grub/ ) to see 
if it fixes the issue but I do think that you may have other problem 
because you say that it has been well installed Grub on the MBR.
I actually don't know anything about LVM and booting.

As you're using Fedora you're using a non-standard Grub. A patched one. 
And this kind of Grubs are not officially supported by this list.
So nobody is morally obliged to reply you.
