Re: Grub 2 vs Grub Legacy: verbiage on website

Hi Gregg,

Thanks for clarifying. It's good to know that I'm not the only one
confused by this. So it sounds like the wording on the website is
actually reversed, with Grub Legacy being active, and Grub 2 in
testing and development and not officially released. Of course this
is further confused by "Grub 2" being numbered as "Grub 1.**", but I'm
not trying to dispute how the branches are numbered, just how they are
explained on the download pages. I attempted to email both Allen
Riddell and Robert Millan to make a correction/clarification to the
website but the addresses I found for them bounced. Is there a better
channel to go through to request that someone review it?

Thanks,
Mike
