URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?28070> Summary: Problem loading modules with grub-efi-ia32 Project: GNU GRUB Submitted by: jordanu Submitted on: Sun 22 Nov 2009 12:00:47 AM GMT Category: None Severity: Major Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: Release: 1.97 Reproducibility: None Planned Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: If I try to boot from a grub.efi image created by grub-install then when I select a menu entry first nothing happens ( the menu flashes ) and if I try the same menu entry again I get the error "unknown command: initrd". If I make a grub.efi image with all modules except kernel.mod included then the same menu entry boots successfully. This is with grub 1.97 from https://launchpad.net/~jordanu/+archive/supergrub I have attached a tar.lzma with my grub directory and in case it is useful here is the build log for the package I am using: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/35461221/buildlog_ubuntu-lucid-i386.grub2_1.97-1ubuntu1~ppa1_FULLYBUILT.txt.gz _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun 22 Nov 2009 12:00:47 AM GMT Name: grub-directory.tar.lzma Size: 175kB By: jordanu <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=19105> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?28070> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
