URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?31776> Summary: DEFAULT boot the last grub entry Project: GNU GRUB Submitted by: gjwucherpfennig Submitted on: Fri Dec 3 22:23:54 2010 Category: Configuration Severity: Major Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Feature Request Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: Release: 1.98 Reproducibility: Every Time Planned Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: The DEFAULT boot entry in grub (usually Windows) can only be booted as default when setting the absolute entry number. My wish is to set DEFAULT to -1 and boot the last entry. That means when installing a new Linux kernel there will be no problem booting Windows as default. No need to boot Linux and change the grub configuration... _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?31776> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
