Hello,

I am running into a problem when trying to install grub-pc (from
Ubuntu) on a MacBook Pro.

I have added more information in the Launchpad bug report at:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1027951

It would be great if you could give me a hand to debug and fix this. I
would be happy to provide more information.

Might this be fixed in the latest grub2 release (which is probably not
in Ubuntu/Debian yet)? How would I test the upstream version of Grub
in the best way?

Thanks,
Daniel.
