Follow-up Comment #11, bug #36740 (project grub):

Hi Horst,

there is one important thing - according to lsusb.out You have connected
kayboard (ATEN switch) in this way:

EHCI -> PC internal USB2.0 Hub -> ATEN internal USB1.1 Hub -> ATEN keyboard

I.e. You probably hit this EHCI problem: USB keyboard (or any USB low speed
device) cannot be connected to EHCI via USB2.0 hub.

This problem was fixed in trunk version approx. half year ago (AFAIK after
official release of GRUB 2.0 version).

So, there is important question:
Do You using official GRUB release 2.0 or did You make it from trunk source ?
