URL: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?56726> Summary: Check for IPv4 missing in grub_efi_net_config_real() Project: GNU GRUB Submitted by: xypron Submitted on: Tue 06 Aug 2019 10:37:29 PM CEST Category: Network Severity: Major Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: Release: Git master Reproducibility: None Planned Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: grub_efi_net_config_real() takes the DHCP acknowledge package from the EFI_PXE_BASE_CODE_PROTOCOL and passes it to grub_net_configure_by_dhcp_ack(). The content might be from IPv4 or IPv6 address negotiation. Neither of the function seems to tests if the content relates to an IPv4 address negotiation.
