Hello
I inserted a windows 10 USB and powered up but again got to grub-repair. I tried the following commands:
Command: ls (hd0.msdos5)
Result: Filesystem is ext2
Command: ls (hd0.msdos5)/
Result: ./ ../ lost+found/ boot/ swapfile etc/ media/ var/ bin/ dev/ home/ lib/ lib64/ mnt/ opt/ proc/ root/ run/ sbin/ snap/ srv/ sys/ tmp/ usr/ initrd.img initrd.img.old vmlinuz cdrom
I tried ls with all others, that is, (hd0), (hd0,msdos1), (hd1), (hd1,msdos1) but got "Filesystem is unknown" each time.
Should I try the following ? Is the syntax correct ?
set prefix=(hd0,msdos5)/grub
set root=hd0,msdos5
insmod normal
normal
Then what should I do ? I am too scared of wrecking this further.
Thank you
Yours truly
