Subject: | Bug In Guile on AIX 4.3.3 Operating System |
Date: | Tue, 09 Jan 2001 13:38:19 -0500 |
I want to report a bug with guile on the AIX 4.3.3 operating system. I have tried "everything" which includes:
1) compiling with no optimization.
2) configuring with ./configure --disable-shared
The compiler I am using is
polymer:/farm/rossi/bin$ gcc -v
Reading specs from /usr/gnu/lib/gcc-lib/powerpc-ibm-aix4.3.2.0/2.95.3/specs
The error I obtain with guile is:
polymer:/farm/rossi/bin$ ./guile-config
ERROR: In procedure scm_ungetc:
ERROR: Memory allocation error
Do you have an idea what I can do to get guile working on AIX?
I cannot proceed to the application I need
to compile because it depends on guile.
Thanks for your help with this.

A. R. Rossi
