Hi! I have a new system (newest linux, glibc, and gcc 2.95.3) and can't install 
any of your guile versions anymore:

net_db.c:85: conflicting types for `inet_aton'
/usr/include/arpa/inet.h:74: previous declaration of `inet_aton'
make[1]: *** [net_db.lo] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/workspace/software/languages/guile-1.4/libguile'
make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
