Oops. The reason is that configure is generated by autoconf 2.52, but
libltdl/configure is from autoconf 2.13. I didn't know that the 1.5.4
tarball has that problem... We will release a fixed version shortly.
In the meantime it should suffice to run autoconf in your source tree:
once in the top directory, and once in libltdl/.
