    Yes, it should work. 
    
    I still don't understand why using "pdf2dsc %s %s" fails?  It works on the
    command line. (pdf2dsc is using "gs -DSAFER -DDELAYSAFER" by the way.)

I dont know. gv should fill the template with right values.
