Thanks for the bug report. It's worth investigating. A segfaut should 
not happen at all.

I am sorry to tell you that it works for me. Please could you tell us 
more details about your system? Which operating system? In case of 
Linux: Which distribution and which version?

Are you using the xaw3d library shipped with your operating system or a 
self compiled one?
