can't get the uncompress file size |

Dear Sir:
I try to use "gzip -l" to check the uncompressed file size of a gzip file.
But the the gzip can't list the correct file size and ratio if the original
file size is large (>10GBytes)
I have tried to use gzip (v1.3.3) and (v1.3.12) , and they still failed to
report the correct file size.
Can you help to solve this problem ?? Should I change any parameter when I
compile the gzip ??
address@hidden gzip -l /a.gds.gz
compressed uncompressed ratio uncompressed_name
8350611118 4160863886 -100.7% /a.gds
address@hidden gzip -l /b.gds.*gz
compressed uncompressed ratio uncompressed_name
5293440716 576618496 -818.0% /b.gds
Really appreciate for you help . THX!!
