Hello ...
I've downloaded your program
Httptunnel hoping that it would enable me to bypass my isp's proxy server and
browse freely. Unfortunately, it was not as simple as I thought. I
have Windows 98 SE and use Internet Explorer for a browser. In my browser,
I have to use a proxy server or won't be able to browse anywhere.... I
changed my settings in the browser to this : localhost:8888 and opened an MS-Dos
window to run HTC. I ran a command HTC
-P,proxy.myisp.net:8080
I kept getting error messages and nothing
worked. I tried without the comma and still...!! there is an
option for stdin, stdout and also for DEVICE...! I have no idea what
this Help is talking about...!!? Please help if you can on how to set it
up so that it can be used and whether it would be useful in my
case...
Regards,,
Khalid,,
