htc is connecting to hts on a remote site, but poll() call never
returns as
indicating any data has been received. Instead poll() keeps timing out
and
tries to write its E to the server. htc thus doesn't get very far. Note
that
the reads by htc on the socket initially do get back the headers from
the
server side okay. Just the poll() doesn't seem to work.
Running htc on the same box as hts is running works fine. Trying to run
both
hts and htc on the Mac OS X box doesn't work however.
Will keep trying to work it out and will try running htc on a different
box
tomorrow pointing at the server in case it is something about hts not
being
able to write back over the internet to the client.
BTW, at the moment no HTTP proxy is involved.
Any known issues with Mac OSX 10.3 (Panther)?
