Finally I threw up my hands and created a new away message on AIM. My organizing principal: in a world of matching mother-daughter capri pants, I've learned to celebrate the beauty of the boy.
I made slings galore, and little geese that make me smile every time I look at them.
Everywhere near the train, people working.
I look at my photos and I feel like I'm still there.
When I was in that crazed and manic stage with Truman's pregnancy, about to burst, he called. Even if it only wins a little typed-up entrance card, though, it will still be a special thing, a mark of how I'm keeping my toe in domesticity and a couple of fingers in arty-craftiness. Finally he settled down, that time on the bus, and we talked about his behavior. I'm knitting here, there and everywhere.
The next day, there was the trailer, ready to be attached.
I sat down and was charmed immediately. Straight to the comic book store we'd passed a half-block away. I ride past buildings where I worked stuffing envelopes for a tax preparation company one summer; I discover that coffee shop I keep hearing about.
Might we be interested? Either way: I need to get this boy an agent. the kiddie room wasn't luxurious, but it did have trucksThe Coast Starlight, like many of the other trains outside of the Northeast Corridor, are roomy and comfortable even in coach.
