0.5.95 worked fine for me on my ThinkPad 760ED with Linux 2.2.17,
but 0.5.96 fails like this:
Running "install /boot/grub/stage1 d (hd0) (hd0)1+15 p
(hd0,4)/boot/grub/stage2"... failed
Error 29: Disk write error
