I fully agree with you as I write in open thread mail, in first one of two
possible solutions: at mach and hurd build time we could launch a defs parser
which creates a file (maybe /etc/rpc). This file could contains all
translations (unsignede integer name <-> character name. There's already a file
with this name (/etc/rpc) which come with rpcd standard installation, it
contains some standard rpc. Do you agree with this solution? If yes, could I
develop it?
