   Thanks for the work.  I've put in your changes.  If you have other
   changes that help gnumach-1 work better for Hurd users, please send
   them along ASAP.  There is no reason to delay putting out a 1.4
   release with these fixes.

Well, I would object to getting out a 1.4 really soon (< ~3 weeks)
since I would like to fix the serial driver in GNU Mach 1.x (either
making it user-space, or just fixing the one in the kernel).  And
Marco wanted to fix the floppy driver.
