That's me again :-)

PyHurd 0.0.0a2 available from http://pypi.python.org/pypi/PyHurd/

We have made a little step in our long journey: setuptools

Installing with simple "easy-install pyhurd" now working.
It downloads already prepared binary distribution for GNU/Hurd and Python 2.5.

If you want to run a few simple test or see examples you need dowload source 
distribution.
It's available on the same page.

P.S.: we really need a good tests :-) If you want to help us, please reply.
