In case no one has informed you libtool has a minor bug with it's
execute mode.
libtool --version:
ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.4.2 (1.922.2.53 2001/09/11 03:18:52)
uname -a:
Linux blah 2.5.2-pre9 #2 SMP Sun Jan 6 10:39:10 EST 2002 i686 unknown
script to recreate problem:
#!/bin/sh
cd /
libtool --mode=execute /bin/ls /home/
patch (not known to work on anyone's system but mine, take as you will):
--- /usr/bin.old/libtool Fri Jan 25 11:47:49 2002
+++ /usr/bin/libtool Mon Jan 28 04:22:46 2002
