Hi,I'm not sure if this is a bug or a limitation of libtool on cygwin. I'm trying to cross compile shared libraries (.so NOT DLL) using the qnx compiler (qcc, provided by QNX) . I'm using the automake/share and libtool tools (libtool 1.5). The configure script always says that libtool doesn't support shared libraries. This makes sense since windows doesn't support .so files and libtool was probably written to not produce shared libs. However, I am using the --host= switch so that it knows (I think) I'm cross compiling. Is there a way to tell libtool that shared libraries are ok if you have a compiler capable of creating shared libs?
Thanks, Alec
